The course exceeds the requirements of NGB outdoor instructor awards e.g. LL, HML, ML, RCI, BCU, RYA IML, MIA. This course is recommended for any supervisors or assessors of DofE expedition participants because of the potentially remote nature of DofE expeditions.

 

An immersion and recovery component can be included to cover RYA, NGB Qualifications.

 

The course is also suitable for anyone involved in the outdoors, whether for work or for recreation. It is not only extremely useful should you go off hiking with friends or family, but wilderness first aid is an invaluable skill for anyone who spends time in the outdoors.

The course is hands on and highly practical. No previous experience is necessary.

 

Candidates assessed on a continuous basis - no formal practical assessments. All delegates sit a test at the end of the course.
