Own a Pony Day

Is your child pestering you for a horse but has no idea how hard it will be? Book your child on to one of our Own a Pony Days. 

Whilst your child is with us at the centre, they will be allocated a horse that matches their ability and experience. The day will start at 10am with a brief safety talk to ensure that your child is a safe as possible whilst in our care. Your child will then be shown how to catch and lead their horse in from the field, all the time being supervised by a qualified member of staff and an experienced member of our Saddle Club team.

During the day, the children will get to ride twice, a one hour riding lesson in the morning and a half an hour walkout in the afternoon. The children will also learn how to feed, groom and tidy up after their horses. These days run during every school holiday from 10am-4pm, whether it is raining or glorious sunshine.

By the end of the day the children will be happy but tired.
